Tell us more about yourself?

I grew up in the clubs in California from San Diego and LA to San Francisco. I have always been a child of the night and was heavily influenced by the rave scene in Southern California. I found the music intoxicating and the fashion and glamour of the club kids magical. When I moved here in 2001, I began hanging out with Juanita More! and the House of More! I quickly fell in love with this cities nightlife while frequenting clubs like Trannyshack, Fag Fridays, and Midnight Mass. Finding a place in our community through night life has been an honor and a joy. Long live the freaks and party people!

How did you get started in club promotions?

I had thrown a couple of one offs in the city when I first moved here. However, it wasn't until I started flyering for Juanita's "Club Scene" party at the End Up that I started to think of myself as a promoter. I later collaborated with Juanita on "Playboy" at the Stud and soon "Big Top" was born. Within six months after that Juanita, Brandon, and I began Booty Call Wednesdays at what is now Qbar.

Who are your influences?

I have always looked up to those who put wild, entertaining, and quality events together. I would like to thank Juanita, Heklina, Peaches Christ, Juan Garcia, David Peterson, and Gus for setting the standard and paving the way for me to be able to do what I am doing now. Pee Wee Herman & Guns n' Roses were also major influences on me while growing up.

What is next in your world?

Well, I am currently working on Big Top's HOMOWEEN party on Halloween night. Juanita will be there hostessing her annual costume contest, which is always so much fun. Then in December Juanita and I are going to New York to do a Booty Call party with the boys from Spank magazine.

Anything off of the Dirty Dancing Soundtrack and currently Heartbreaker by MSTRKRFT.
